Exploring the Lord of the Rings

Corey Olsen began Exploring the Lord of the Rings on Tolkien's birthday (January 3rd), back in 2017, and since then we have been meeting weekly (as nearly as we can) to read our way through The Lord of the Rings together. Although the series began as a broad survey of the book (the original plan was to complete the series in one year!), we soon slowed and slowed more, until we settled into discussing the text paragraph by paragraph and sentence by sentence. But don't worry; we will probably finish the book before the year 2095.
